Isobel Lake and Area Trails
I kayaked Isobel Lake, then hiked to find some geocaches on area trails at the lake and off the Grasslands Community Trail. 
Pat Lake and the Six Mile Hills
A paddle on Pat Lake, then a different hike in the Six Mile Hills on the east side. 
Clearwater Lake
A long day. I kayaked up Clearwater Lake for 6 km to Diver’s Bluff Marine Campsite, then hiked the steep trail up to Eagle’s View, then back down and back. A 16 km route on a sunny and smoke-free day. Clearwater Lake is a favorite spot to kayak, one I try to paddle every year. 
Red Lake
A kayak outing from the north end of Red Lake, followed by a hike on backroads.
Adams Lake
A kayak outing from Adams Lake Provincial Park (Bush Creek) up the west side of the lake into the wind, lunch on a beach, then a loop route back.
Stake and Coaster
Twice around Stake Lake in good conditions first, then a hike on trails off Chuwhels Mountain Road, including the Coaster Trail.
White Lake
Under clear and sunny skies I paddled the west end of White Lake.
Community Lake
Up out of the smoke, I paddled Community Lake on a sunny morning. 
Glimpse Lake
Using firesmoke.ca I determined that the only place not in smoky skies in mid-late morning was the area near Douglas Lake, so I drove south, then up into the hills to kayak Glimpse Lake. Once around the lake took about 75″.
Surrey and Sussex Lakes
A drive on backroads to a secondary track for a hand launch and paddle of Surrey Lake. I secured the boat and gear, then went for a hike to Sussex Lake, continuing on a loop route for a total of 9 km.
On Peterhope Lake
A morning paddle on Peterhope Lake including the marsh channel and the hidden lake.
A Windy Stump Lake Paddle
Blue skies, but windy conditions on Stump Lake for kayaking on the south end of Stump Lake.
Edith Lake, Above the Smoke
It was smoky in the valley, but a I climbed to Edith Lake, there was some haze, but the sky above was bluish and sunny. I paddled around the lake in fairly good conditions.
McGillivray Lake
A smoky morning paddle on a hot day around McGillivray Lake, then a loop route on trails to Little McGillivray Lake. 
Pillar Lake
A paddle around Pillar Lake (about one hour), then a hike up to the Pillar and back on a sunny, calm day in the hills.
Exploring the Badger Lakes
I kayaked Badger and Spooney Lake, then hiked to Little Badger Lake, exploring lakes and marshes in the area. 
Roche Lake West
A kayak outing from the Roche Lake west Campground, out to the south end of the lake, back along the marshy and rocky eastern shore, then across the lake back to the launch spot. No smoke, sunny conditions, little wind, and lots of waterfowl. 
Rossmoore Lake Kayak and Hike
A long drive out on backroads to Rossmoore Lake. First I kayaked around the lake, then I hiked a loop route on the east side of the lake.
Kayaking Hyas Lake
A morning paddle up at Hyas Lake, at the end of a backcountry road on a sunny and calm day with no one around.
