On the Trails is a companion website to several other websites:
This website features individual photos taken while hiking, snowshoeing, paddling, on nature hikes, gardening, and general observations. I photograph while doing these activities; I don’t go out to photograph sunsets, waterfalls, wild animals, street scenes, and other shots taken by avid photographers. The image is important, but the content of the image is just as important. A single photo is featured in each post and some background information is added. I hope you will enjoy some of the posts of this website.
