It was foggy higher up, so I hiked the Bluebird Trail, then up Dewdrop Ridge, then an out-and-back-with-a-loop on the Bluebird Trail for a 2 hour, 6 km outing in the Dewdrop Range.

Wheeler Pond – Lac du Bois Loop
A hike around Lac du Bois, up through the forest to Wheeler Pond, then off-trail along the ridge back to the lake. Three hours of hiking and exploration in the Lac du Bois Area.
Ironmask and Bunker Road Trails
A hike up the Mine Trail and down the Rodeo Trail to check out a spot, then a hike on Bunker Road Trails, down the gully to Red-Tailed Hawk, then back off-trail along the bluffs, and a route through the trails back to the start. About 7.5 km. 
Rose Hill – Tower Hill Loop
A 9.2 km hike from Rose Hill Park through the hills to Tower Hill, then a loop route on different trails near Joyce Gulch back to the start. Out for 3+ hours. Cool, but very nice hiking weather. A post to be added to Rambleon.ca soon. 
McArthur Island
A hike/walk around McArthur Island after the rains.
Bunker Trails
A one hour hike on the Bunker Road Trails, followed by lots of yardwork. 
Mimi Falls Hike

Barnes Lake Trails

Ironmask Hills Hike

Mt. Baldy Hike
An 8 km, 3 hour hike up to the Mt. Baldy Lookout (above Sorrento) and an extra loop trail and back on a warm and pleasant day.

Back to Lac le Jeune
It was foggy and drizzly in town, but it was mostly clear and calm at Lac le Jeune for a one hour paddle on the lake, followed by a 45 minute hike on nearby trails. Day 88 of kayaking in 2026.
Adams River Trail
We hiked down the Adams River from Wade Road to Shuswap Lake and back on forested trails – 2 hours – on a sunny day.
Outer Inks Trails
A 5.5 km hike on the Outer Inks Trails on a greyish day. 
Gus Johnson Trail
An 11.8 km hike around Lac le Jeune with the Gus Johnson Trail as the main route. Three hours of pleasant hiking. I will do this one again next fall in the reverse direction and I will probably snowshoe a part of the route in winter.
