A geocache that took some revision was just published – Its the Journey (on Paul Lake). Then I kayaked Paul Lake and placed a boat-access cache on Edith Lake – Back Channel. I have hiked this in winter too when the lake is frozen. Today I hiked an 8 km loop route on Tod Mountain and placed a new cache at Tod Lake, sent to a reviewer.
All these caches are placed at a rate of one per outing, on a trail or a lake that I am hiking or paddling (snowshoeing in winter), but previewing where a good spot might be ahead of time. The cache container goes in my backpack or my cargo hatch on my boat and if I see a good spot, I hide it there.
This will be my pattern – no City-hides, no park and grabs, no puzzles, no disguised micros. Geocachers can enjoy the hike, kayak, snowshoe and pick up one more, or not.
