By using the website firesmoke.ca, I was able to determine that the area with the least smoke was near Savona and so I drove west and decided to hike in the Six Mile Lakes area.    Blue skies over dry hills awaited, so I decided to hike around Pat Lake and then over to Morgan Lake, and then back on a partial loop route.
