A week of paddling, hiking, and some tennis, but some geocaching too.

• Nabbed the island geocache on Roche Lake, then hiked out to Black Lake, hiding two caches – Black Lake Road and Black Lake.     I then visited Tulip Lake and placed a cache there.    All in small containers in stumps and at the ends of logs.  
• I kayaked Lac le Jeune and picked up two marine-access GCs on the lake.   I then went up the Lodgepole Lake Road and hiked out the Beech Spur Road to place a cache there.   
• I hiked in Valleyview Nature Park and found 4 GCs.    Limited time so just some quick finds on trails.    No park and finds for me.
• I hiked a loop route around Lac du Bois and Wheeler Pond.    A new trail for me to connect the areas!    I placed one on the new trail – Pecker Stump (waiting for the review) and one at Wheeler Pond.   
• I kayaked Stake Lake then went out to find two new caches by the Fuzz Heads on the Beech Spur Trail.    I then went cross-country over to the Dragon Spray Trail and placed new caches at a hidden pond (Pond-er This) and on top of a hill (Dragon Spray) – also waiting for review. 
• I got the map working on my GPS finally.  
• I need to get to the Phalakasa GC to check the coordinates.   
• Upcoming – kayaking Stump Lake (plus two searches for GCs) and place one or two nearby.
• Upcoming – hike Bluenose Mountain in Vernon.
